It’s so sad and heartbreaking seeing a lot of stories about most of our ladies who have at one time in their life been sexually assaulted and raped, even the little kids are not left out of this inhumane activity. I believe we still have responsible men out there that would stand against rape and not cover up for their fellow men indulging in this act. It’s time we practice the habit of self-control and it’s also high time for justice to be served.
I’ve seen a whole lot lately I tell you and it’s so mentally draining and sad. When it comes to rape the questions that automatically arise is what was she wearing?… she should have been more careful… were they both drunk?… are you sure that’s what exactly happened?… Bla Bla Bla… it’s always Society blaming the victim. It’s CLOTHING not APPROVAL FOR SEX! 95% of women have been sexually assaulted at some point in their life and probably will never speak on it either because they were threatened by the perpetrators, lack of courage, shame and what have you but silence is a charge simply because it leaves those perpetrators to freedom to attack again and again. I believe it’s time we speak up and leave no stones unturned. Let’s make these perpetrators face legal justice for this crime. It starts with each and every one of us. We must stop at nothing to report every rape case and let’s stop with the compromise.
If we ladies can’t be safe in our country then we shouldn’t expect ourselves to feel safe anywhere. The problem with the system and security of our country is that they blame women when they are raped. Society teaches don’t get raped rather than don’t rape. We need to stop telling victims to be careful and how they should defend themselves and start to educate our men not to rape. Justice must prevail. Those creeps who are always in the habit of constantly raping our women and touching them inappropriately must face justice. It’s time we fight this issue. We can’t continue living in a society that is unsafe for us. This crap needs to end, do not compromise rape. It’s a CRIME for goodness sake.
A girl pride isn’t for sale, it’s priceless. I encourage every victim out there to speak up. By not speaking up, you’re empowering the doer of the act. Speaking up is empowering yourself, you’re human, you deserve respect. Let’s all try to respect ladies and their dignity. Modesty is the best jewel of women. The men out there can do better. Let’s protect our ladies rather than destroy them. No matter what a girl does, no matter how she’s dressed, no matter how much she has had to drink, it’s never okay to touch her without her consent. This doesn’t make you a man, you’re just a COWARD.
I honestly do not understand why it’s becoming a culture to rape or if she is wearing a short dress she’s inviting you to outrage her modesty? No, rape is never the victim’s fault. Not if she was drunk or wearing a mini skirt. Not if she was a sex worker or if society doesn’t believe her story, not if she was your partner or disabled. No one deserves to be raped. Absolutely no one! Even if she smiles, talks, laughs, chats, or have fun with you. NO IS NO! Rape is rape and it is never excusable.
Being a law student and a citizen of this country I’m raising my voice against rape and I suggest you do the same. Respect women ✊🏻. Rape isn’t the consequence of her way of talking or dressing, it’s provoked by his sick mentality, not her short clothes.
Together we can fight this!!!
